LEVANT RESTAURANT REVIEW
LEVANT:
A restaurant known for Lebanese food and more
Although Levant is known for Lebanese food, I usually go there for their chicken cause I'm African...I love chicken.
I've been to Levant a number of times so I'll list down everything that I've had from there, even if it was in bits.
Keep scrolling to find out what I had. Let's EAAAAATTT!
WHAT DID I EAT?
My first time going to Levant was in 2020 and I remember having some wings accompanied with some sort of chapati, fries and some sauces. On my second time, I AGAIN ordered wings but they came differently this time ( I'll explain ). And on my thirds time, I ordered a Shawarma. All times I went there with my friends and I'll share what they had as well because God, their food was just as tasty!!
Chicken shawarma wrap: a very TASTY wrap made of marinated roasted chicken stuffed with pickles and garlic sauce. One thing I can say is I'm glad I didn't come across the pickles as much, so apart from that, the wrap was delicious and whew, it came in 4 large pieces. The fries was the right amount of portion as always. I'd give it another try any day.
Okay but how GOOD do these salads look? I don't have much explanation about them because I wasn't the one who ate them- my friends did. I'm not the healthy type girl (hate it here) but I'd give these a try, they literally look so appealing, and also my friends said they're good. If you're trying to eat out and still be healthy, you should try these out ASAP! Fattoush and Chicken Caesar respectfully, in that order.
Chicken wings: deep fried chicken wings with YOUR choice of BBQ, buffalo or provincial sauce. They're served with fries. I didn't enjoy this one as much because it had some sweetness to it and I'm not really a fan of sweet chicken. But, if you like chicken with some sweetness to it then this is definitely for you.
WHAT DID I DRINK?
HOW WAS MY MEAL?
My meal was well enjoyed except for the buffalo wings as said previously (they were good but it's not something I would go for ). The chicken shawarma is what I'd highly recommend for people who like wraps.
WHAT DID MY MEAL COST?
The grilled wings cost 18,000tsh. The chicken shawarma wrap cost 14,000tsh. The fattoush salad cost 12,000tsh. The chicken caesar salad cost 18,000tsh. The chicken wings cost 14,000tsh.
As for the drinks; the mango juice cost 5,000tsh. The green goddess cost 14,000tsh. The strawberry shake cost 10,000tsh.
Their menu is available in google maps (I know it sounds weird but that's usually the first place I go to).
OVERVIEW
My first praise when it comes to Levant is that they have good food at an affordable price and the portions are very reasonable as well.
The place is friendly to both adults and children, because children also have their own playing spot as adults enjoy their own personal time. It's a beautiful and well kept place.
They open at 7AM-12AM everyday.
Location: Haile Selassie Rd, Dar es Salaam
