AMIGOS RESTAURANT REVIEW
AMIGOS
A taste of Mexico
As you can tell from their name, it's a Mexican restaurant. I love trying out cuisines from different countries cause it makes me feel like I have a part of that particular country in my mouth. So if you want to get yourself some Mexican food, then this is the place for you.
They have a variety of foods to your liking and almost everything tastes delicious. I've had a number of food options on my visit there, as well as drinks.
And of course, I'll list all of them down for you.
Keep scrolling to find out what I had. Let's EAAAAATTT!
WHAT DID I EAT?
Tacos: it's only right to order tacos at a Mexican restaurant. This is basically wheat tortilla which is folded and stuffed with YOUR choice of filling. I usually take the chicken tacos, but there's also a beef option. It also came with avocadoes for toppings. It was served with red salsa and lime. I enjoyed their tacos but 3 taco shells felt like it was too little for me because they're pretty small. But weirdly, I got satisfied regardless.
Enchiladas: this is a soft wheat tortilla wrap which is stuffed with cheese, cilantro and YOUR choice of filling. It's topped with sauce and MORE cheese and baked. It's served with mexi-rice, beans, pico de gallo (tomatoes, onions with a squeeze of lime) and crema. This was literally so good as you can tell from the above picture. SO MUCH cheese and that was my favorite part. You can either have it in beef, chicken or pork, it all depends on what you like.
Nachos: this is crispy wheat tortilla topped with melted cheese and other toppings of your choice which include guacamole and pico de gallo, spicy ground beef and jalapenos. This can be eaten as a starter while you wait for your main course. I liked the fact that it was crispy and topped with melted stringy cheese, it's like some sort of comfort food! Definitely recommend this appetizer.
Empanadas: I'm pretty sure you can tell that this is a starter, it's a savory pastry pocket filled with beef or chicken and it's served with red salsa. They're literally so cute (the design) and apart from that, they taste good too . You can order this and have it while waiting for the main course.
Border wings: these are marinated and pan fried chicken wings tossed with BBQ sauce and it's served with ranch dressing. This is the ONE! he little sweetness and smokey flavor is what I couldn't get enough of. This is also a starter and hence the portion served. If you're looking to have a little taste of chicken before immersing yourself in Mexican flavors then you should definitely try this one.
WHAT DID I DRINK?
Their drinks are literally so refreshing, you can literally feel that coldness going down your throat, it's so soothing.
HOW WAS MY MEAL?
FANTASTIC! Everything was delicious and my favorite dish was the quesadillas, I'd recommend that to anyone. Followed by the enchiladas because of the EXTRA cheese. Their food is served in a good amount of portion If you have a large appetite, I'd suggest the enchiladas. This is a restaurant you want try out - for change.
WHAT DID MY MEAL COST?

OVERVIEW
The restaurant is located at a very peaceful area and the ambience is well thought out, both inside and outside, from the decor, to the space, to everything. The music played is very nice, I loved it.
The staff is very friendly and nice, also keen to the orders in order to make sure everything is served as it's supposed to. Also, they're so good when it comes to celebrating someone on their birthday, so fun and entertaining.
Their food is amazing- my taste buds were overwhelmed and the prices are reasonable, perfect for events. I highly recommend, you won't regret.
They open EVERYDAY from 12PM-11PM.
